In robotic welding, wire feed consistency matters more than in manual welding. A manual welder adjusts technique to compensate for feed variation. A robot follows its programmed path and relies entirely on the wire behaving the way the process was set up to expect.

Falkon Automation supplies solid and flux-cored welding wire in the grades used most commonly in industrial MIG, TIG and overlay applications. We focus on feed consistency and reliable arc characteristics over long production runs.

  • Solid MIG wire (GMAW): general structural welding, stainless steel and chrome-moly grades available
  • Flux-cored wire (FCAW): higher deposition rates for structural fabrication and hard overlay applications
  • Overlay and hardfacing wire: for wear surfaces, mining components and excavator teeth
  • TIG filler wire: precision filler for TIG and plasma processes
